Turanga Health

today we were learning how to play touch rugby with Turanga health. it was a good sport because it can help you learn new skills and run real fast as somebody is chasing you. in fact i have been practicing at home for athletics day. 

                                                                                          

i enjoyed training with my friends and have a vers with them.

 i found it difficult to run after all the others because so much people in the way.                                                                                                                                                        

 next time i would change of talking so i can get a better chance of scoring a try.

Chinese Language Week

 

i am learning how to say words in chinese.

i found it difficult to pronounce it correctly.

i enjoyed put in the english words and then Translate it to chinese.

Description. wetapunga has Extremely long antennas twice the size of it's body!. wow i never knew that.

habitat/location. wetapunga the name of where they live is  heteracantha' sometimes they can be spotted in the coast of new Zealand.

Dynamics. wetapunga shed there skin ten times as it grows.

 1.Types of coral. there is the brain coral and the staghorn coral.

 2.soft coral and hard coral. soft coral dose not have a skeleton body. and a hard corals build reefs.

 3.A variety of fish and what they can do. there are prawns and hawkfish that can camouflaged in bright pink and light red.

 4.Marine life. a variety of Marine life types of sea creatures live in coral like clown fish and Eels and prawns. 

 5. The reef. the great barrier reef is the largest and most widest reef in the world.

Chomp' Chomp' Chomp' as i gobbled down my Hashbrown. it was so Crispy and Warm it melted in my mouth like a Flake. after that Delicious Moment i went to go get myself a big Thick Pancake. i covered it in swirly soft fluffy whipped cream. everybody wanted the fluffy swirly soft whipped cream. it was the best day Ever!

The Missing Cats

We had to follow a scenario of a mystery, I changed the given scenario a little bit here is my mystery story.

Today I got a call from Mrs Aperahama saying that when she went to go feed her cats
they were gone. So I went to go seach for them. I went to the school and I saw muddy
paws leading a trail through the playgrounds and up the slides.

When I was following the trail I heard hissing and meowing from up  a tree.
It was very close to where I was. So I ran to follow the sound. Once I got

there I saw them. I got up the tree carefully so I did not shake the tree. When I got

the cats down and gave It back to her she gave me some money In return.

my slithering pathways:)

Today I was painting some pathways from scratch. first off I drew my sketch out of chalk then I started to put patterns in my pathways like lines , and dots , and cant forget the squiggly lines.

This was fun. We made the chalk paint using tapioca flour, water and food colouring. I really enjoyed having 4 colours.

my favourite Recipe :)

ingredients 

• ½ cup of standard plain flour
• ⅓ cup of sugar
• ⅔ of coconut
• ¾ cups of Fleming’s rolled oats
• 50 g butter
• 1 tablespoon golden syrup
• ½ teaspoon Edmonds baking soda
• 2 tablespoons boiling water 

steps.

1. Mix together flour, sugar, coconut and rolled oats. Melt butter and golden syrup

Dissolve baking soda in the boiling water and add to butter and golden syrup. Stir butter mixture into the dry ingredients. Place level tablespoons onto a greased tray, Bake at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Today we had to read an article about using a thing called a Raspberry Pi to programme a light to light up using a battery and wires.

The 5 W's of Anzac Day

We had to watch a video about Anzac day. We had to write who , where ,

when , what , and why. This is what I found out. 

The Australian and New Zealand soldiers arrived in an

Army boat they were called the Anzacs.

The Army sailed over to the Gallipoli Peninsula.

Every April 25th we have Anzac Day. On April

25th 1915 they landed ashore.

When they went they fought for us in world war one.

They fought for the city called Constantinople so

they could use the canal for their ships.

I felt sad and proud how New Zealand and Australia fought for 9 months.

The sad bit was that 8,000 people died from that battle. The proud part

was that they fought for us in world war one.  I watch in fact two videos

about what Anzac day.

Stacked in Alphabetical Order

Our challenge was to build a tower out of something using alphabetical order as we stacked.

I chose to use lego and stacked them using the colours in alphabetical order.

  I like how it went from light to dark on my tower.    I felt proud how it was staying up on its own without falling down.    I got this lego from my lego collection.   Can u count how many legos are in the tower?
